A blog for the members of the Adventurers' Club of Honolulu which meets every 3rd Wednesday or Thursday evening except for December, when there is a different date. The meetings at various Honolulu restaurants include dinner and an adventurer's presentation. Meeting June 17 2010 - Chic Alsop - China

The June meeting was held at the Waialae Country Club beginning at 6 pm on Thursday June 17, 2010.

Chic Alsop, the presenter - featured his recent adventures in Southern China beginning in Shanghai, a sail on the Grand Canal and up the Yangtze on a "common Mans" ferry boat. His adventure included socializing with the Miao, Dong and Yao minority peoples of Guizhou and Guangsi. Be prepared for a fascinating exploration of the region with Chic - one of our most popular Speakers!
