3 MONTH NEWSLETTER NOW ONLY VIA EMAIL. PLEASE PRINT A COPY FOR YOUR HANDY REFERENCE

                 PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Greetings fellow Adventurers!
It’s hard to believe another year is upon us! You’ll note that this newsletter is for the first THREE months of the year, instead of four. Switching to a quarterly newsletter will give us much more flexibility in securing program speakers (and make our Program Chair’s life a bit easier!), as well as finding volunteer reservationists. So look for your Adventurers’ Club newsletter every quarter!
Our first three programs of 2019 are by our own Club members! Don’t miss them! Aloha,
Lowell Angell, President

Exploring the Pacific, Above and Below Water
by members   Judy and Ted Simon
Judy and Ted Simon have been traveling and snorkeling the Pacific for nearly 50 years, ever since they moved to Hawaii. Their most recent trips took them to the islands of Palau and Yap, Micronesia, where they explored the underwater world of fish and coral, in addition to the above-water natural and cultural resources.  In Yap, it was the 50th  Anniversary of Yap Day, an annual festival that celebrates the various island cultures of Micronesia.  Their photos and videos have captured Palau’s world famous Jellyfish Lake and Rock Islands, the athletic Yap Bamboo Stick Dance and the magnificent manta rays. If you have never snorkeled, come see what you have missed. If you do snorkel, but don’t take photos, come see why you might want to start.
