A life long student, Christine Banziger visited Florence, Italy to complete her second year of Italian language study under the Study Abroad Program with the University of Hawaii in 2007. She will display for us the sights of Florence and see what she saw every day for the month she was there. This includes museums, street scenes, and market scenes. She will visit the Stibbert Giordino, a villa and lovely park with woods and statues near the home in which she stayed. She also made a visit to Cinque Terra, a scenic part of the rugged coast on the Italian Riviera. She further traveled to the northern region of Liguria and in particular the city of Monterosso al Mare. She also visited San Gimignano and Siena, both lovely old Italian towns in Tuscany. ..
